The Derek Holmes Jr. "DHJ" Exponential Learning Scholarship was established at the University of Central Florida's Sports Business Club during the Spring semester of 2018. The scholarship lends financial support to students participating in the club's annual exponential learning trip. On this trip, select students get the opportunity to meet with sports and entertainment executives, receiving first-person insight and advice on working in the sports and entertainment industry. The scholarship helps fund travel and other trip costs for one student each year.
